If you have a Fully functional installer on CD, then you do not required for any registration later on. All live updates for this product can be downloaded from our server.
If you have a demo version of SalesTax Exact then you have limited functionality. To get Fully functional version of SalesTax Exact you must register with us. After proper registration, we provide you with a Software Key through E-mail. With this key you can upgrade to the fully functional version.
We take care of all aspects of user friendliness in this software. This software is designed in such a manner that even a novice user can easily use it understand the flow of control.

Installation process is the same for both products, whether it is Fully functional or Demo version. We recommend the user to follow the default selection while installing this product.
After successful
installation, the user can start
SalesTax Exact through any of
the following options:
- From Program Files
- Shortcut on Quick Start Up bar
- Shortcut on Desktop

Moving From Demo Version to Fully Functional Version :
If on using our demo version, you are satisfied with our products and want to upgrade to the Fully functional Version, follow the steps given below:

Fill in the Online Purchase form. This form is available on our website

On
successful registration, you
will get a Software Key via
E-Mail. |
Step - 3 |
Convert your Demo Version to Fully Functional Version by entering the Software Key in the "Product Registration" screen. |
Step - 4 |
On
successful registration, you
are authorized to use this software.
When ever there is an update,
you will get it if you are a
registered user. |
- In Demo Version, at the startup of the product, the user gets a message that the product version is a Demo Version.
- Restrictions of the Demo Version are :
> You cannot create more than three companies.
> You cannot get latest updates.
- For using Fully functional product, the user must register with us.
Product Registration :

User downloads Demo Version from the SalesTax Exact web site. For downloading the demo version, user must register on the site, providing basic information. |

On registration, a Download link is sent to User by E-mail, so as to be able to download the demo version multiple times. simultaneously, the product is downloaded at the desired location on the user's PC.

User runs the downloaded setup program and installs the demo version of the product. |

The user can now start the application by clicking the icon . |
You can update product in two ways.

Install manually downloaded Updates (Internet connection is not necessary) |

On clicking the "Product Update" button in the application, the user is requested to exit the application. |

On confirmation, the application is closed and "Update" screen opens up. You must select the "Install manually downloaded Updates" option. |

By clicking on browse button select that manually downloaded Update. |
|
Click on "Start Update" button to update the product. |
| We also provide Regular Updates in CD, by E-mail and can be downloadable from our site. This option is mainly provided because all users may not have internet connection. |

Download Update from Web server (Internet connection is necessary) |

In this case you have to select the "Download Updates from Web Server" option. |

Set proxy, if necessary. |

Click on “Fetch Data From Server”, this will download update on your local computer. |

Click on Start Update. |
